How to Boil a Frog

Every 6 months, I receive a ‘policy renewal’ in the mail for my auto insurance. As an avid ‘leaner’, I always take this opportunity to review the contract, my coverage, and most important, my insurance premium. I was a bit disappointed to see that, although I had no accidents over the period, my premium had skyrocketed an appalling $2.20! Talk about boiling the frog!
But let’s be serious for a moment. Another $2 isn’t going to hurt anyone, is it? And certainly, I can afford it, right? This extra contribution ensures that the risk pool is lowered for...
