supervisors have always had: skill in training team members, skill in continuous improvement, and skill in gaining people's cooperation. When supervisors have these skills, the results are shorter training time, less scrap, rework and equipment damage, lower cost and higher productivity, and improved morale.
TWI consists of three standardized programs that teach these essential skills. Each program follows a proven four-step methodology that is simple, straight-forward and easy to implement. Supervisors practice the four-step method and "learn by doing" in a confidential, low-stress, and highly supportive environment.
Participants attend sessions for 2 hours each day for 5 consecutive days, returning to the workplace to apply the techniques learned. Each participant selects a current day workplace problem and demonstrates to the class how they applied the four-step method to solve that problem.
